The Latin "Corpus Bellator" is loosely translated as "body of the warrior".  The picture in the header is of the Lion Monument in Lucerne, Switzerland. The monument is dedicated to the Swiss guards who were killed in 1792 in defense of King Louis XVI.

There are many beautiful monuments worldwide dedicated to the  memory of  those who have fallen in battle.  Though we may not always agree with the politics, it is important to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in support of what they considered to be a worthy cause.
